Black cloth in unclipped jacket. 318 pp. A few illustrations throughout. A collection of essays examining maps made by Native Americans in their contact with whites, ranging from land claims to hide paintings, and discussing earlier Eurocentric studies of Native American mapmaking. GOOD+ jacket on a VERY GOOD book. Minor to moderate rubbing, some fading and minor edgewear to the jacket. Slight bowing to the book covers. Owner's name in the interior.
