When Mallory finds a weathered map tucked inside an old nature book at the Lantern Ridge Library, she knows it is no ordinary drawing. The map is marked with strange symbols - a maple leaf, a lantern, a bridge, a squirrel, and a compass - each one pointing to a different place in town.
