The Case of the Blood Red Stars: A Kelly Riggs Mystery

The Kelly Riggs Mysteries feature the tough-but-well-dressed Scotland Yard detective, set in an offbeat 1930’s London. Walker’s award-winning illustrative powers conjure a world that is a posh mashup of vintage film, pulp fiction, and steampunk. As THE CASE OF THE BLOOD RED STARS opens we learn of the theft of the legendary rubies, and murder soon follows. Aided by his young cohorts Michael, Mandy and Jen Prescott, Sergeant Bellows, the beautiful Brendalynn Welles, the Flying Squad and a host of detectives and scientists, Riggs is set to solve the murder, tackle the villains and discover the curse of the Blood Red Stars. It's an exciting blend of old-fashioned mystery and vintage thrills with some new-fashioned tweaks. With a nod and wink, the Kelly Riggs Mysteries are a grand homage to the Golden Age of Mystery, Suspense, Pulp Fiction, Film Noir and Crime Classics.
