A Case full of Insects

Coolly accurate in its timing, 'A Case full of Insects' is the account of an impulsive journey illuminated by present day insights and the history of places. A 'factional' story that doesn't spare the reader from human duplicity, the irregularity of truth and the consequences of actions. With a cast of irrepressible characters lubricated by the laughter of our hero, their lives dovetail together on a detailed canvas forming a background to a circular journey that sandwiches life hard against death with a filling of absurdities and hard knocks. Life off line.

Jack Everett was born in Uttar Pradesh, India. Trained as a sculptor, his work and commissions have taken him to many places. His writing comes out of a curiosity about, and acute observations of people and their adaptation to environments. His characters all have their roots in reality since that is where the extraordinary resides. Verbal histories and experienced geography informs the canvas of his narrative and the dialogue of his distinctive cast. It is from documenting both his work and travels that 'A Case full of Insects' has emerged.
