Cassandra's Cellar: ...You're not afraid of the dark, are you?

Seven Dark Fantasy tales from the mind of internationally published author, Cassandra Pepper. Enter the maelstrom of a voracious slime mold. The webs of a Black Widow. Escape into the arms of a deadly nighttime predator, the gris-gris of voodoo curses, and a traditional ghost story. You may want to leave the lights on tonight as you enter...Cassandra's Cellar.

Cassandra Pepper was born to a pair of sideshow performers who later became regulars with a traveling circus. It made for an interesting time growing up, to put it mildly. Her mother had a snake pit, appeared as a mermaid and also as a half-horse, half-woman. Her father ate fire, was electrocuted nightly, and sewed buttons to his chest. In the summer months, she traveled with the circuses, performing at the various shows with her parents. During the years with the circus she became known as 'Sno Cone Annie', and was lucky to count all kinds of special people as her friends, including Gorilla Girl, Caterpillar Man, Alligator Boy, Pin Head and many other denizens from the carnival boardwalk. This lifestyle gave her a rather...different take on the world at large. Find out more about her latest works at: www.cassandrapepper.com
