This is a short story that appeared in Progressive Farmer in 1935. I had to do a lot of research to find out where it was published because there is no cover and nothing to tell name of periodical but could tell it was a farming magazine. Finally found it in an article by a man named Cary published in Colby Library Quarterly IX # 11 Sept. 1972. Anyway, this is a well worn issue with chips and holes but all of the story is in there plus an interesting article on wind erosion in Texas Panhandle and terracing. And some 1935 ads for farming equipment. This is 14"x 10" ; 14x10.
