My Cat, Grayson, Is Not Like Me! A Whiskered Tale of Differences and Discovery

Karter and the family cat, Grayson, could not be more different from each other.

Yet they are the best of friends!

That's right, even though Karter and Grayson are so different, they love hanging out with each other. Do you know anyone who seems very different from you? A sibling? A cousin? A neighbor or classmate? And do you still love playing with them?

Or...do you think you could, if only you gave friendship a chance?

My Cat, Grayson, Is Not Like Me! A Whiskered Tale of Differences and Discovery is a warm and playful journey into understanding and celebrating what makes us unique-and how opposites often make the best of friends.

Perfect for curious kids and their parents and teachers, Karter and Grayson's story teaches the youngest of readers to appreciate the wonderful differences in others. Using repetition and rhyme and engaging illustrations, author Maureen Scanlon's latest picture book for young children will easily slide into regular story-time rotation. My Cat, Grayson, Is Not Like Me! is a follow-up to My Dog, Bexley, Is Just Like Me! but can be read on its own.
