Orig. published in 1957, this is a slightly later (1961) printing, with 3 signatures vs 1. DJ is in the Back H format, with the "I Can Read It By Myself" Beginner Books logo to front DJ, copyright notice to rear flap. Hardcover book with semi-glossy paper-covered decorative boards is in VG condition: very clean & bright, pages white, colors bright, binding strong & straight. Slight rubbing to extremities, including bumping at all corners & both ends of spine, & light soil along edges where endpapers are glued to boards. The price-clipped DJ is VG-/Good+, with mild edgewear, heavier at corners & both ends of spine: soiling to very center of front. Protected in new mylar cover Free!
