161 lot auction on 27 pages + 17 half tone and black & white photo plates of 40 of the lots. This auction held on Thursday 23rd April 1931. Cost 7/6d and is in the green printed soft card covers. There would have been an unillustrated version in cream wrappers. This sale contains Queen Anne's Gold Watch and Chatelain + The Nugent Porringer, a Charles 1st Tazza, Commonwealth Wine Cup, Collection of Early Stuart Spoons, a box with Cosway Miniatures, etc, etc. Just a small pull at top of spine and a small closed split where once caught, otherwise VG+ Slim quarto. 1931.

We have been operating on and off since 1977 and our stock is varied, leaning towards antiquarian and 19th century with the addition of original aquatint and lithographic, or woodcut engravings. Also maps and Ephemera - in fact, anything interesting on paper really. We have in stock every item we list. We do not use stock photographs, but photograph each item individually. We very rarely use "fine" or "mint" as a description, mainly due to the age and the fact that 99.9% of what we sell has been pre-owned and therefor Fine would not be a term for a book we sell despite its fine-like appearance. We always take items back unreservedly if not in the condition as described. We always try to describe fully.
