Internally very good to fine, edges untrimmed. 209 pp. An extensive catalogues of books relevant to many areas of collecting and science with over 3600 books offered. There are also 101 lots with catalogues of previous Woodward sales. Among the history books offered are several 17th century American imprints, many by Increase or Samuel Mather. Among the other highlights of this sale was a Bible used by Robert Cushman, one of the organizers of the Pilgrims' travels to America and the speaker of the first sermon at the Plymouth colony. This was Woodward's 96th sale. A wonderful 19th century book auction catalogue with many exceedingly rare items.
