[ii], 304; [ii], 284 pp.; 8vo, half-bound in brown leather, spine label, marbled paper sides. Two priced bookseller catalogues, both dated 1840, bound in one volume: Nattali lists 5,874 entries, while the Longman catalogue contains 4,101 items. Ex-library, Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County in Ohio (deaccession slip laid in), with blindstamp on title page, shelf label, donor bookplate, no other markings. Good copy; contents generally fine, with a little toning, not much apparent signs of use; the upper board has been neatly reattached, edges and corners rubbed, some offset from turn-ins, original gilt on title label rubbed away.
