About the Author
Peter is the author of CatchFire: A Seven Step Program to Ignite Energy, Defuse Stress, and Power Boost Your Career and the co-author of Mentally Tough: The Principles of Winning at Sports Applied to Winning in Business. For twelve years, he has studied the leading research on enhancing performance and has presented motivating programs that help business people maximize their energy, productivity, and fun. Recently, Peter joined forces with FitnessAge, a company that uses state of the art technology to empower people to make positive lifestyle changes.
Peter delivers eighty seminars a year to a Fortune 500 clientele that includes AT&T, Deloitte & Touche, Hewlett Packard, IBM, Marriott, Microsoft, Oracle, and Prudential. In addition, he has worked with the executive business programs of The University of Maryland and The University of Denver. His work has been featured in USA Today and on CNN, among numerous other newspapers and television programs.
Prior to his work in the peak performance field, Peter received a Master's Degree, taught at the high school and college levels, and coached five sports. As President of McLaughlin Company Realtors for ten years, Peter ran a thriving office and was a member of the Million Dollar Round table. With 3 stores less than 1 hour outside the DC/Metropolitan area (1 in Gaithersburg, 1 in Frederick and 1 in Hagerstown, MD), we have the largest selection of books in the tri-state area. Wonder Book and Video has been in business since 1980 and online since 1997. We have over 1 Million books for sale on our website and another 1 Million books for sale in our 3 locations. We have a very active online inventory and as such, we can receive multiple orders for the same item. We fill those orders on a first come first serve basis, but will refund promptly any items that are out of stock. Since 1980 it has always been about the books.
