Cat's Cradle

Cat's Cradle is a photographic picture-story of two kittens at comic mischief - climbing into a teapot, upsetting a vegetable rack, scrambling from guitar strings, escaping a kitchen bin while a puppy works the foot-pedal - with Paul Dehn's verses; a charming humorous book for animal lovers. Ron Spillman and Jack Ramsay, with words by Paul Dehn. Longmans, hardcover in pale green cloth boards with pictorial dust jacket; black-and-white photographs and verse commentary. No later printings stated. Front flap printed 10/6 net. Previous owner's inscription and a circled pencil mark on the front free endpaper. Pictorial dust jacket with creasing and small chips at the top edge, more pronounced chipping and paper loss along the bottom edge, and a small brown stain on the front flap; rear panel with edge chips, especially at the corners. Good.
