When rising Celtic music star Catherine "Cat" Alexander-Blair wakes from a coma, she isn't in a hospital. She’s locked in the magnificent mansion of Sin—a powerful immortal predator. In the blink of an eye, her modern life is shattered, replaced by a ruthless underworld of ancient politics and impossible magic.
Cat refuses to bow to Sin’s authority, even when her defiance carries a heavy price. But as a strange, forbidden power awakens within her veins, she transforms from a headstrong victim into something far more dangerous: a threat to the entire vampire hierarchy.
With the Council of Five demanding her execution, Cat has no choice but to trust the enigmatic master who saved her life. As a lethal conspiracy threatens to tear their world apart, she must harness her music-bound magic to save the vampire who holds her heart—before the shadows consume them both.
If you love dark captive-to-lovers romance, fierce heroines, and sizzling paranormal tension, step into the addictive world of the 21st Century Vampire series today!
Note: This book contains sensual themes, dark fantasy elements, and a cliffhanger that leads directly into Cat’s Eyes, Cat’s First, and Cat’s Magick.

Review
Format: PaperbackVerified Purchase
This is an engaging read that will appeal to those of us who perceive mystery, magic, and adventure as qualities that inform us. More than a vampire tale - the supernatural beings have characters that remind us of potential. T.S Mos was writing this story long before the recent vampire trend. She knows her subject and like a true wordsmith she weaves a narrative that makes you forget you are only reading a story. The protagonists, especially Cat, sometimes break the tension with something so funny you have to laugh and grin. This is a quality book worth the price!
