Is There Not A Cause

When faith is tested, the fight for truth demands courage—and the cost is everything.

Drew Richards did his job, saved a little girl from a pedophile, and spent the next two years in a state penitentiary.

Having turned his back on his church and family, Drew’s released a man without a cause.

But when he drifts into a seedy Midwest city of Rocktown and accepts an invitation to a Sunday service from Kaylee Pierce, an outreach coordinator from New Creation Baptist Church, he’s reminded of the sacrificial love of Jesus Christ and his faith is renewed.

Wanting nothing more than to catch the next bus home, Drew’s plans are sidelined when Kaylee’s found in a coma at the bottom of a bridge. Detective Powers has determined her fall an accident. Drew’s not so sure. His suspicions are confirmed when he inadvertently disrupts an attempt on Kaylee’s life at the ICU. One problem, the hospital staff and Detective Powers think he’s the one who made the attempt!

Is there not a Cause is a Christ centered, fast action, hard hitting fiction novella that entertains with a bang while confronting some very real and controversial issues of our day.
