Synopsis
febrero 23 de 2002. Clara Rojas es secuestrada por las FARC cuando acompanaba a la entonces candidata presidencial Ingrid Betancourt en una gira por el sur del pais. Transcurririan seis anos antes de que ambas fueran liberadas. Que paso durante ese interminable cautiverio? Como se sobrevive en la selva en las condiciones mas precarias? Como resistir el trato inhumano de la guerrilla? Como soportar la indigencia total el aislamiento el riesgo permanente de morir? En fin como reaccionar cuando se descubre en semejante contexto que se esta embarazada?. Clara Rojas narra desde el fondo de su corazon una espantosa el traumatismo del rapto la vida cotidiana en cautividad las tensiones entre los secuestrados sus tentativas de evasion y las relaciones con los guerrilleros asi como su amistad con Ingrid Betancourt que no resistio esa dificil prueba. El embarazo y el nacimiento de su hijo Emmanuel en pavorosas circunstancias. Su inmenso dolor cuando ocho meses despues las FARC le arrebataron al bebe. Los tres anos de lucha para reencontrarse con su hijo. Su euforia cuando por fin pudo tomarlo en sus brazos. La autora nos hace compartir su historia su valor su fe. About the Author
Clara Rojas is a lawyer and was the campaign director of Ingrid Betancourt’s presidential campaign when they were kidnapped by the FARC in 2002. She gave birth to her son Emmanuel during her captivity but he was taken from her when he was only eight months old. After six years of captivity she was finally liberated. Clara and her son currently live in Bogotá, Colombia.
