James Messina is a father of three children who never shied away from creating his own stories at bed time. One of the first of these was about Cecil Lee the Froglebee, a character who started off as just a fun name to say, and quickly became a staple of the highly ritual between brushing teeth and tucking in. In a way, Cecil Lee reflects his own way of encouraging his children to take on the world around them, to challenge long held truths and look with wonder at all the mundane things too many people take for granted. With the help of an amazing illustrator, Peter Vasquez, now these crazy stories can come to life and jump off the page!
