Cell Level Meditation: Breathing with The Wisdom & Intelligence of The Cell

Cell Level Meditation focuses awareness on the smallest unit of life for the purpose of healing. By meditating with the cells, you begin to awaken to the vast potential within yourself to move to levels of greater self-awareness. You take a majestic leap as you find your own authentic experience, as an expression of what is going on all the way down at the level of the humble cell. By simply looking at something, you change it. So in Cell Level Meditation, you look into the cells of your body, and then go into the cells and become them, using the timeless technique of combining awareness with the breath. Perhaps for the first time you direct this ancient technique of awareness at the smallest unit of life: the cell. You are given the tool and asked to discover your own way in. We don t want to ruin the experience for you, but rather to provide suggestions, point the way, and validate experiences you are likely to have, and inspire you with our own and others experiences. You may have a vision or an insight, or some inner experience of shape/color/movement/sounds/smells. You may also feel a shift in your physical body. By taking the life breath into these experiences and staying very present with them, you discover your unique way of bringing harmony and healing to what is happening. This very simple experience often has profound effects as you open up to a new level of communication within yourself that may heal or enhance your experience of yourself in life.

Dr. Barry Grundland is a psychiatrist whose specialty area might be called psychoneuroimmunology (mind-body healing). Cell Level Meditation is his life work, and he has worked in many arenas: from child psychiatry (his favorite) to the military; he has worked with corporate presidents and homeless people; he has consulted in prisons and cancer retreat centers. Barry has worked with people all over the world and helped them heal from things modern-day medicine hasn t been able to cure. He has also worked creatively with some of the most evolved people on the planet to develop their talents more fully. For over 40 years, he s been working with people as a true healer one who helps others come to Wholeness, or to a sense of being who they really are.

Patricia Kay, MA, CCH, discovered the connections between the mind, the body and the Spirit by working as a midwife in rural Mexico for 11 years, along with serious personal health crises that opened doors of awareness. She also studied homeopathy under a master homeopathic physician and has been working with this spirit-like modality for over 20 years. Through both midwifery and homeopathy, she s had the privilege of witnessing the amazing capacity of the body and mind to heal themselves in ways that are often surprisingly creative. Working with the deep intelligence of the body/mind through meditation was a logical next step. She met Barry about 7 months after a very remarkable experience of Cell Level Meditation, in which her foot spontaneously healed, while she was present in a meditative state, watching it happen. Barry accepted her as a student and a co-creative process began in 2001 that would find a voice of expression through this book. They worked at finding the right tone so the gift would point others toward the path of their own healing, while leaving it open for the unique creativity of each person to come forth. Patricia has taught workshops and worked individually with people by meditating with them, since 2004. She s given the book out to dozens of people, asking for feedback and incorporating what she s learned that helps people begin to have their own deeply healing experiences.
