In Celtic tradition, spirituality is woven into and through the rhythms of daily life. Because the way we observe the unfolding year shapes the way we live, many have turned to the Celtic calendar - strongly linked to the elements and the seasons - to experience the yearly cycle in a deeper and more meaningful way.

A few minutes spent each day with The Celtic Book of Days will integrate Celtic myth, poetry, prayers, lore, and blessings into your life and help you recognize and celebrate the seasonal turning of the Celtic year.

Each month opens with an explanatory discussion of a major aspect of Celtic tradition, with vibrant, original color illustrations drawn from Celtic art. The daily entries guide you on your journey to the heart of Celtic culture and traditions. Caitlin Matthews has created new translations for many of the entries in this book, including material from rare and previously unpublished works.
