Grey-green textured wrappers with typographic title panel to front cover; moderate shelf wear with light overall soiling and a few small nicks and creases along edges. The covers and the first and last few leaves are split along the spine fold from the top edge down to the top staple and from the bottom edge up to the bottom staple; the pamphlet is held together only by the two staples in the central portion of the spine. Previous owner's ink stamp at head of front cover, a faint institutional stamp to upper left, and a small pencil notation in the upper margin. Interior pages lightly toned but clean and unmarked. Plate II shows moderate orange-tan dampstaining along the top edge, with lighter toning visible at the top of Plate I.A Bureau of Fisheries scientific report by Dr. Edwin Linton documenting the cestode parasite Otobothrium crenacolle as found in the flesh of the butterfish (Poronotus triacanthus).
