Chairs, Chairs, Chairs

In spite of being an apparently basic article, a chair conceals a great number of different facets. It reflects the social and aesthetic changes that have taken place throughout its history; it is an ideal medium for experimentation with new materials and technologies; it presents a challenge to designers; it threatens the laws of gravity; it forms, without a doubt, an indispensable part of our surroundings. Chairs, chairs, chairs reveals all and presents some outstanding chairs ranging from the most emblematic examples of the 20th century to the most revolutionary creations produced by today's emerging designers while also focusing on works which have turned the chair into an art object. A complete and inspiring vision that is as relevant for the designer as for anyone who wishes to find the chair of his or her life..
