Chakra Approach to SEL – Align, Empower, Thrive: A Holistic Guide to Energy-Based Social Emotional Learning

Chakra Approach to SEL introduces a gentle and accessible framework that blends ancient energy wisdom with the foundational principles of Social Emotional Learning. Drawing on her rich experience in early childhood and teacher education across India and Canada, Educator & Chakra-Inspired SEL Facilitator Seema presents a chakra-based approach designed to help children cultivate emotional awareness, self-regulation, and inner balance.

While the book centers on supporting young learners, it also offers guidance for educators, parents, and caregivers—who naturally benefit as they begin applying these insights. Through simple explanations, reflective practices, and intuitive tools, Chakra Approach to SEL opens a path for conscious education rooted in alignment, presence, and heart.

With its integrative lens, the book gently bridges the traditional focus on body and mind to include the oft-overlooked dimension of spirit—inviting a more holistic approach to learning, connection, and personal growth.

With over two decades of experience in education across India and Canada, Seema has worked extensively in early childhood development and teacher education. Holding Master's degrees in English Literature and Education, her journey of supporting learners and fellow educators has always been guided by an innate inclination toward mindfulness, empowerment, and spiritual growth.Certified in Energy Medicine and Chakra Work for Children in Canada, Seema's personal awakening journey prompted deep introspection-where roles like daughter, wife, mother, and teacher gently gave way to a fearless exploration of soul and purpose. That exploration evolved into a soulful voyage, offering new perspectives on her role as an educator and the deeper impact she could make. While walking her own path of healing and transformation, she felt called to support others-especially educators and learners-in finding deeper connection and alignment. Chakra Approach to SEL is born from that sacred integration: a heartfelt offering that blends energy awareness with practical tools for Social Emotional Learning, especially in the formative stages of childhood and beyond. To further this purpose, Seema founded Atmamanthan - Centre for Self Exploration-a space devoted to evolving educational practice through energy-informed approaches, blending ancient wisdom with contemporary methods to nurture the whole child and whole educator-in mind, body, and spirit.Seema welcomes heartfelt reflections, questions, or connection at: centreforselfexploration@gmail.com.
