Chalk & Cheese and Other Musings

"We're like chalk and cheese you and I Bertie!" And so begins this appalling tale exploring an average week in the lives of intrepid explorers Shrewton Vole and his good friend Bertie Wanger, unsuitably in the form of a children's picture book! Also included in this volume are the beautiful yet tragic 'Ballad of Bounder, ' an afternoon out with a local nutter in 'Where's Knokes?' and the lyrical musings of unpopular tunesmith Dale Dandy in the form of 'My Mother-in-Law's Shelf.' From Simon Beaumont and Paul Lightowler, authors of 'Shrewton Vole's A Field Guide to Beasts' and 'Dyllis, some scripts what we done, ' CHALK & CHEESE AND OTHER MUSINGS also features a chapter from the new novel 'Beastville: Book One' (coming 2016). Too new to be classic, too awful to be good! You'll hate it but keep one in your wardrobe to fend off moths anyway.
