Chambersburg in the Colony and the Revolution. A Sketch. By Lewis H. Garrard and printed in Philadelphia by J.B. Lippincott and Co. 1856, 60 pp, 8.75 x 6 , 8vo, hardcover full cloth. In good condition, with minor rubbing and wear to boards and spine. Hinges remain tight and text block remains bound well. Light loss to cloth at head of spine. Includes list of subscribers at front of book. General age-related toning to pages, along with periodic foxing and wear. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. A scarce piece on the early history of Chambersburg, Franklin County, Pennsylvania, one of many publications by the Historical Society of Pennsylvania.
