A Champion's Mindset is a children's wellbeing book co-authored by Tommy Ramdhan, 2 x European Champion representing Great Britain, and Bethany Johnson, a primary teacher at Deira International School.

Blending elite sport with classroom experience, the book helps children understand resilience, perseverance, and the power of a growth mindset through relatable, real-life storytelling.

Tommy Ramdhan is a two-time European Champion sprinter for Great Britain and a children's author whose journey from a determined young athlete to competing on the world stage has inspired many. Tommy discovered his love of sport early on, but his path was shaped by setbacks and self-doubt. These challenges taught him that champions are built through resilience and belief. His debut children's book, A Champion's Mindset, created with educator Bethany Johnson, shares real stories from his life to teach young readers about a growth mindset and finding the champion within themselves. Tommy is also Head of High Performance for Al-Futtaim at Universal American School, where he supports young athletes in developing confidence and a love for sport. Through his school visits and workshops, he continues to inspire children to embrace challenges and unlock their potential.

Bethany Johnson is a primary teacher with nine years' experience across the UK and Dubai. While serving as the Wellbeing Coordinator at Deira International School, part of the Al-Futtaim Education Foundation, she was inspired to co-author A Champion's Mindset with GB sprinter Tommy Ramdhan, blending his athletic journey with the wellbeing curriculum to help children understand resilience and a growth mindset. Bethany is passionate about innovative, real-life learning that empowers and inspires young people to develop confidence, purpose, and positive lifelong habits.
