The Chance

A power-packed thriller from the acclaimed author of The Disciples

One bored billionaire. A simple bet between two friends. Four ordinary people on opposite sides of the world. $10 million the prize on offer to them. But to get it they must kill.

Gerald Falcone, the richest man in the world, thinks the four contestants in his ruthless game called The Chance will commit the ultimate criminal act to obtain the cash. He knows everyone has their price. Via the Internet, Falcone finds and controls his players with anonymous gifts of money and all-expenses-paid trips around the globe.

For disillusioned Sydney journalist Nicole Harrison, The Chance seems like a golden opportunity - break the story of a lifetime and break out of her dead-end newspaper job. But after her firend is murdered, the web tightens, her rivals close in, and Harrison realises there is no hope of escape. Or is there?
