El Chancho (Paperback or Softback)

When the system fails, someone has to take justice into their own hands.

By day, Dr. Max Donovan is a brilliant trauma surgeon, mending broken bodies in Houston's busiest hospital. But by night, he becomes something far more dangerous-a man on a relentless mission to punish the predators who hide behind money and power.

For years, Max has fought a silent war in the city's underworld, taking down the dealers and pimps who slip through the cracks of a broken system. But when Rosa, a teenage girl stolen from her home in Mexico, is trafficked across the border, Max finds himself facing an enemy larger and deadlier than ever before.

As he digs deeper, Max uncovers a sprawling criminal empire built on human suffering, protected by men in suits who believe they're untouchable. But they've never met anyone like him.

Now, with Rosa's life hanging in the balance, Max must risk everything to bring the truth to light.

Because in a city where justice is bought and sold, the only way to win is to take it by force.
