Change Ringing Disentangled: With Hints On The Direction Of Belfries, On The Management Of Bells, Etc. (1880)

Change Ringing Disentangled: With Hints On The Direction Of Belfries, On The Management Of Bells, Etc. is a book written by Wigram and Woolmore and was first published in 1880. The book is a comprehensive guide to the art of change ringing, a style of ringing bells in which the bells are rung in a series of mathematical patterns, rather than the traditional chiming of a single bell. The book provides detailed instructions on the technique, including the proper way to handle the ropes and the timing of the ringing. It also provides advice on the design and construction of belfries, the management of bells, and the maintenance of the equipment. The book is a valuable resource for anyone interested in the art of change ringing or the history of bell-ringing.This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
