Changing Vs Choosing: What You’re Not Changing, You’re Choosing

What if the life you’re living is the result of what you’ve been avoiding?

Changing Vs. Choosing is a bold reminder that staying the same is never neutral. Every habit you don’t challenge, every fear you don’t confront, every dream you keep delaying—those are choices. And they shape your future just as much as the decisions you actively make.

In this raw and reflective book, Santiego Rivers breaks down the truth behind the phrase “what you’re not changing, you’re choosing.” He explores how fear quietly decides our paths, how the doubts of others become our own, and how comfort often disguises itself as safety while costing us our potential.

This book is not about motivation alone—it’s about responsibility. It’s about choosing effort over excuses, growth over familiarity, and becoming over waiting. Through personal insight and hard-earned clarity, Rivers challenges readers to stop negotiating with the old version of themselves and start investing in who they are capable of becoming.

If you’ve ever felt stuck between who you are and who you know you could be…
If fear has kept your dreams at a distance…
If you’re ready to stop hoping and start choosing—

This book isn’t here to convince you to change.
It’s here to show you that you already are choosing.

The only question left is: what will you choose next?
