Store description
I have a limited stock of books for sale, chiefly history and politics. Books can be shipped throughout the world but economy shipping will take several weeks. Standard shipping is quicker but more expensive. I pack with care and always obtain a Proof of Posting. Descriptions are done precisely and any faults in a book will be carefully noted. Where a book is an ex-library copy this will be stated.

Terms of sale
Books can be shipped throughout the world but economy shipping will take several weeks. Standard shipping is quicker but more expensive. I pack with care and always obtain a Proof of Posting. Descriptions are done precisely and any faults in a book will be carefully noted. Where a book is an ex-library copy this will be stated. Complaints about the condition of a book will be considered but the original description is always accurate bearing in mind that all second hand books show some degree of wear. Direct (non-ABE) payment should be made within 7 days; beyond that the book will be re-instated on the ABE inventory.
Shipping terms
The quoted domestic shipping cost is based on the standard UK 'small parcel' rate of 1Kg or 2.2 lbs. This is adequate for standard octavo hardbacks. Books heavier than that may require an extra fee. Foreign shipping sometimes has to be by slower, surface methods depending on the shipping fee paid.
