Mi Chango Favorito

Mi Chango Favorito is a tender, beautifully told children’s story about love, loss, kindness, and the quiet ways God restores what matters most.

Alegria’s favorite companion is not just a stuffed monkey. Mi Chango is made from her mother’s soft winter coat, stitched with care and wrapped in memories. He is comfort, connection, and friendship all sewn together. When Mi Chango is suddenly lost, Alegria’s world feels painfully empty. What follows is a heartfelt journey through grief, patience, generosity, and unexpected redemption.

Set within a warm, culturally rich community, this story gently introduces young readers to themes of empathy, forgiveness, and selfless love. Through Alegria, Abuelita, and her friend Juan Pedro, children learn that doing the right thing often costs something, but it also carries the power to heal hearts.

Perfect for families, classrooms, and bedtime reading, Mi Chango Favorito reminds readers that treasured things are not always replaced, but sometimes lovingly returned, transformed by kindness.

Mi Chango may only be a toy, but he is Alegria’s most treasured friend. When Mi Chango is lost, will she ever see him again? Find out in this heartwarming tale of redemption and friendship.
