Second edition.In the publisher's original green cloth binding.Wonderfully illustrated throughout, including with three maps. Collated, complete.An insightful travel work on the Channel Islands, covering the history, legends and scenery of Jersey, Guernsey and Sark. Written by Octavius Rooke, a British army officer and writer of poetry, plays and the novel Heir to Two Fortunes. In the publisher's original green cloth binding. Signed by a previous owner to the front free endpaper. Externally, smart with slight bumping and rubbing and a few marks, the most noticeable being to the front board. Internally, reasonably firmly bound, pages being marginally more delicate towards the centre and particularly to 83 through 94. Light age toning and a few spots, heavier to the first and last few pages, otherwise a bright and clean example. Very Good. Seller Inventory # 1010B22
