Terms of sale
All items listed are in good or very good condition unless otherwise indicated. Should it be found on receipt that any item has not been correctly described it may be returned for full refund, as long as this is done within seven days of receipt. PRICES are in Pounds Sterling (£Stg). We can accept cheques in £Stg. and $Aus, and PAYPAL. Also by Bank transfer. If ordering via ABE you can pay by Visa, Mastercard, Diners and JCB.
The cost of POSTAGE will be added. Lighter items are sent by First Class post. OVERSEAS orders will be despatched by the cheapest surface mail method UNLESS AIR MAIL IS REQUESTED. All items will be insured at no extra cost to the customer. PLEASE NOTE: On ABE 'Priority' = AIR MAIL. 'Standard' = SEA/SURFACE MAIL. In the UK 'Standard' = AIR MAIL or FIRST CLASS. 'Economy' = SEA/SURFACE MAIL.
PLEASE NOTE: That commencing July 1st. 2020 US Post will be charging other International Mail Organisations, e.g. U.K. Royal Mail, 100% more for the 'final mile' delivery in the US. This means that the cost of postage for Air Mail parcels going to the US inevitably has to rise. As an example the postage for a 1 kg (2.2lb) parcel going by 'air mail' from the UK to the US will cost £Stg.21-95, instead of the £Stg.18-95 it would cost if sent to Canada. In fact I will continue to charge slightly less, standing some of the cost myself. Surface Mail costs will not change. Please note that 'Tracking' on Air Mail parcels attracts an additional fee. There is no 'Tracking' on Surface mail.
PAYMENT for DIRECT sales is due within 7 days of receipt of the INVOICE and may be made by cheque in Pounds Sterling (£Stg), or Paypal, or Bank Transfer, as indicated on the invoice. The exchange rate where two currencies are shown will be the commercial rate on the day the invoice is written. Please note: all items remain the property of Peter Moore Bookseller until paid for in full. NOTE. If requesting further details, or images, of any book, the book will be reserved for a maximum of FOUR (4) days.
PLEASE NOTE: We cannot be held responsible for any taxes or duties imposed in the customer's destination country.
