About the Author

Peter James est n� en 1948, � Brighton. Apr�s plusieurs ann�es pass�es aux �tats-Unis en tant que sc�nariste et producteur de cin�ma, il est retourn� s'installer en Angleterre. Peter James compte parmi les auteurs de romans policiers les plus lus du Royaume-Uni, notamment gr�ce � son personnage r�current du commissaire Roy Grace. Comme une tombe (�ditions du Panama, 2006), son premier ouvrage le mettant en sc�ne, a re�u le prix Polar international 2006 du Salon de Cognac et le prix Coeur noir 2007. Si son personnage f�tiche se retrouve dans la grande majorit� de ses ouvrages, il signe avec Des enfants trop parfaits (2014) un roman sur les d�rives de la science et de la g�n�tique. La plupart de ses romans ont paru chez Fleuve �ditions. En 2016, il a re�u le prestigieux Diamond Dagger Award pour l'ensemble de son oeuvre.
