Fraser is best remembered as a minitaurist portrait painter who portrayed at least one member of nearly every prominent Charleston, SC family in the first half of the 19th Century. But his historical account, Reminiscences of Charleston, is also an import. Fine hard cover book/ small closed tear of front dust jacket panel & rubbed otherwise very good dust jacket. one of an ed. of 1, 000 of 1924 edition by Frederic Fairchild.
