Chase Chase Tomato Race (Paperback or Softback)

In a world of enchantment and wonder, meet George Theodore Tinkleworth Tomato - a small, roundish, and multi-hued young feller residing in the magical gardens of my grandpa's majestic castle. Despite his grandiose name, George is no larger than a dewdrop, yet his heart brims with boundless curiosity.
Amidst this cornucopia of wonders, George learns that caution is his constant companion. He gazes over his shoulder, ever watchful for shadows lurking among the verdant bushes or concealing themselves in the lemonade moat. The drawbridge demands inspection before he ventures across, and the fudge-flavored trees may harbour fierce, fudge-eating frogs that lie in wait. He had better keep an eye out!
In this tale of magic and discovery, where imagination knows no bounds, each moment teems with excitement and joy. Journey with George, and be spirited away to a world where the boundaries of reality blur, where the garden's every nook conceals thrilling surprises. Embrace the warmth of whimsy and let your imagination soar as you revel in the enchanting escapades of George and his delightful companions.

Lis Tarvin grew up in the small town of Swanage on the south coast of England. With her parents and three brothers to entertain she had an incredibly happy childhood spent climbing trees, racing on the beach, and swinging on a rope over the local stream. Eventually 'growing up' invaded her playtime and with teaching qualifications in hand, she moved to London where she taught for several years before moving to the States where her husband had secured a job.
Lis still spends every summer back in England with family, friends, a notebook, and a pencil. Lis has been writing all her life, from her first story at the age of four entitled The Cat is a Hat Mat Pat Sat. After 44 years in the classroom, she is only now finding time to share her stories with the big wide world. She has always enjoyed rhyming her stories and even using rhyming in her classroom lessons. The children loved those lessons. Lis lives in Santa Monica, California where she enjoys hiking, painting, and writing.
