Chasing After God's Own Heart: Redirecting My Life

In 2018 my life took a dark turn, and I could not understand what was happening to me. I was working a full-time job, but I was mentally stressed at work and in life. Married with children, I started feeling sad all the time and as if a dark cloud was hovering over my head.

With nothing more that I could do to regulate my mind, my life, and my spirit, I began to drink, smoke, partying every weekend, and catch a flight to escape the reality of my world. But, no matter where I went, I always felt like I could only go but so far.

Through a chance encounter, I found God. It was with His love and kindness that I was able to redirect my life and serve Him with purpose. I now realize that God was there to show me how to reclaim what I had lost and helped me get my life on the right path.
