Chasing Dragonflies: The First Flight

Sixteen-year-old Lily Hart feels her world shifting beneath her feet. Her closest friendships are changing, junior year is bringing fresh complications, and the loss of her beloved grandmother still lingers.

Then, while clearing out her grandmother’s attic, Lily discovers a silver dragonfly pendant and an old journal filled with secrets meant for her.

The pendant carries a strange energy Lily cannot explain. As she searches the journal for answers, she begins to wonder whether her grandmother’s stories were more than stories. Then an anonymous warning appears:

Even dragonflies can get their wings burned.

Someone knows what Lily found. And someone wants her to stop looking.

With friendships tested, first love stirring, and family secrets drawing her deeper into the unknown, Lily must decide whether to play it safe or find the courage to follow the truth.

The First Flight begins the Chasing Dragonflies series, a heartfelt young adult journey filled with mystery, friendship, first love, family secrets, and a subtle touch of magic.
