Bill Froehlich is a storyteller from Pittsburgh who has dedicated his career to crafting narratives that might help make people's lives better despite life's inevitable challenges. After graduating from Ithaca College, where the great writer Rod Serling became his first mentor, his ambitious dream led him to Hollywood and he embarked on the demanding journey of breaking into the entertainment industry.
Over four decades in film and television, Froehlich's career unfolded across multiple roles as a writer, director, and producer. His extensive body of work includes motion picture and TV movie screenplays, as well as numerous episode scripts for television series. He was a writer/producer on ten different series, including MacGyver, Scarecrow & Mrs. King, Hart to Hart, and The Outer Limits.
Throughout his Hollywood career, Froehlich had the opportunity to collaborate with legendary icons such as Paul Newman, Katharine Hepburn, Burt Lancaster, Suzanne Pleshette, Mary Tyler Moore, Tony Dow, and Alan Thicke, as well as contemporary stars including George Clooney, Ryan Reynolds, Frances McDormand, Kurt Russell, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Richard Dean Anderson, Robert Wagner, Stephanie Powers, Maureen McCormick, Henry Winkler, and Ron Howard.
His contributions to the industry earned him membership in prestigious organizations including the Directors Guild of America (DGA), Writers Guild of America (WGA), Screen Actors Guild (SAG-AFTRA), and The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (ATAS).
Froehlich's passion for storytelling has evolved with his first solo novel, which he approaches through what he describes as inspired exploration of life's experiences, imagination, and the unknown. He believes the world holds more mysteries than we understand and that something sacred emerges from every story that connects authors and readers. Chasing the Goddess, represents this soul journey approach to storytelling.
He currently resides in California on a small ranch with his wife and various animals, including four horses.
