Chasing Grace: Light in the Shadows

Grace Walker has spent her first year at the Atlanta Ballet Conservatory chasing perfection. She balances grueling classes, teaching younger students, and scrubbing studio floors just to afford pointe shoes. Her ankle aches, her rivals push harder, and every rehearsal feels like a test of her worth. Yet even in the strain, Grace begins to shine, proving she belongs on the stage.

Back home, Aaron’s brilliance leads his robotics team to victory, and Dad finally finds the stability their family has long needed. For the first time in years, hope flickers. But when Grace returns home for the summer, one unexpected knock at the door threatens to shatter it all. How do you protect the light you’ve fought for when the shadows refuse to stay away?

Light in the Shadows is a reminder that sometimes the hardest battles are the ones fought offstage.
