A catalog published in conjunction with an exhibit by the same name held from October 30, 2008 to January 4, 2009 at the Czech Center in New York City. The exhibition highlighted the "relationship of history and memory by exploring places associated with the Czech community in New York in the 19th and 20th centuries" particularly the Bohemian National Hall located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York City. This landmark building has been taken over and renovated/restored and is now the home of the Czech Consulate General and the Czech Center in New York. Measures 9" x 10" with 63 pages; illustrated throughout with historic vintage b/w photographs and other illustrations in color, as well as color photos of the restoration efforts.
