(1930 - 2023) was a Serbian Grandmaster and co-founder of Chess Informant (?ahovski Informator) in 1966, a landmark publication that revolutionized chess study with annotated games and opening codes. As editor-in-chief, he was pivotal in developing the Encyclopaedia of Chess Openings (ECO). Chess Informant was established to collect and annotate the best games from top grandmasters four times a year, becoming a standard for competitive players.
