Yury Shulman Yury was born in Minsk, Belarus. He,became Belarus Champion in 1994 and an International Grandmaster at the age of 20. He was the 2006 US Open Champion and has qualified to play in several World Cup Championships. Yury is a nationally recognized chess teacher, and coached the US Women's Olympic team in 2006 and 2014 and US Olympic team in 2012-2013. Yury was ranked in the top 100 in the World and is also a 2008 Olympic Bronze Medalist as part of Team USA. He was a Silver World Team Medalist in 2010, and became the 2008 US Chess Champion. Yury and Rishi co-founded the award winning Chess Without Borders non-profit program. Yury teaches chess in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. Rishi Sethi is a graduate of Dartmouth College in New Hampshire. He is a former student of GM Shulman. Rishi is the founder of the award-winning Barrington Chess Program. He is an A class chess player and has won numerous awards and scholarships for his work with chess and philanthropy including: the Presidential Freedom Scholarship, the Prudential Spirit of Community Award, the AXA and US News and World Report Scholarship. He is the 2008 Finalist for the Harris Wofford Award and was 2008 delegate to the UN Youth Assembly in NY. Rishi is currently the CEO of Method Mill, a data pipeling and NLP technology company in New York.
