Item description from seller
xii, 176 pages, small octavo. Red cloth over boards with black stamp. David McKay did not have a consistent practice of first edition identification during this time and there is no indication of printing at all. Without a bibliography noting printing points, this copy cannot be claimed as a first edition, but it is in the earliest published format I could find. Book boards have some areas lightened by staining and there's some wear to the spine ends. Interior age-darkened, especially at the endpapers where the glue is showing through as dark tan. Spine is cracked, but the stitching holds, between the gatherings at pages 114-115. No interior ownership markings.

Store description
Picky Books is run by Ian McCullough and he has been buying, pricing and selling used books since 1995. We will travel to look at collections or individual books of merit in any field and pay competitively for exceptional books. Please note that like the store name, we are picky. Ian worked in one of the largest bookstores in the world for five years and has exceptional knowledge in many disparate areas of collecting. Please email, we can sometimes tell you about your books even if we cannot purchase them.
