. . . . Small 8vo, hardcover, no dj. Green cloth w/ blind-stamped decoration, gilt spine lettering. Vg condition. Contents clean, no markings, binding firm. Short 1/2-inch split to front interior hinge paper, but no loosening of board itself; two tiny spots on outside textblock edge, not affecting interior. Outer boards clean, corners lightly bumped, tiny chip to upper spine cloth. 380 pp. Includes 301 chess problems, one per page, each presented as an illustration of a chess board with pieces laid out in a state of play. Solutions provided in rear.
