Chiaroscuro: Casting Light on Complex Issues

In this book, Chiaroscuro represents the strong contrast between two opposing sides, and the complex gray area in between. This book was written and edited by 9th graders at High Tech High Mesa. We hope the reader learns more about the light and dark of a particular subject, such as the psychology of dictators, or the economics of the Cold War. Most importantly, through this book, we hope the reader values the student’s work and learns something new. Each student’s writing piece is valuable, as every article, essay or short story sheds light on a complex issue or subject.
