The cover has brown cloth and an illustration of a server. The text block ends are red. The sub-title is Seasonable, Inexpensive Bills of Fare for Every Day in the Year. Each entry begins with three menus for the day's three meals, followed by instructions for preparation. Index. The boards are mottled with faded spots from shelf wear rubbing. The color on the bottom end of the back board is mostly gone. The spine strip has a 1/2 in. faded spot. The endpapers and the first 30 pages are darkened on the bottom end by a water stain. The remaining pages are darkened on the bottom, front corner. The bottom 3 in. of the foredge has a dark stain. The endpapers' folds are partly split; the hinge beneath remains sturdy. Two pages each have a 5 1/2 in. split that is rejoined with document repair tape. Crease lines, short closed tears, and chips are sparse. Scans e-mailed upon request.
