pp 92, frontispiece portrait of author, 24cm tall, octavo. Ownership signature of Jessie Bross Lloyd, the author's wife, on front cover. Lloyd, the progressive author of "Wealth Against Commonwealth", argued in this pamphlet for municipal ownership of Chicago's streetcar lines. Rear cover is weakly attached because of a tear at joint, front cover has 2in area of soil at bottom edge. Some text underlined with pencil. no date, 1904.
