About the Author

Authors John Graf and Steve Skorpad have gathered photographs from many sources to help these monuments and memorials tell their story, providing Chicagoans with a tour of their city's history and the people, places, and events it has chosen to permanently memorialize. John Graf is also the author of Chicago's Parks: A Photographic History, also from Arcadia Publishing.
