Chickadee Puzzle

A wood puzzle of 3 chickadees in a wintery landscape. Housed in a cardboard box which also includes an educational leaflet "The Chickadee" by Edward Howe Forbush, published by the National Association of Audubon Societies (Educational Leaflet No. 61, 1974), and a sheet of paper with an illustration of what the puzzle is supposed to look like. Puzzle measures 4 �" x 7 �" and has wooden puzzle pieces with the puzzle's illustration printed on paper and glued to the wooden pieces. Puzzle has light toning and soiling, and the paper is detaching from the wood on some pieces. The "chickadee, merry and unafraid, hustles about amid the storm, fills his little stomach with insects, and, as the dreary night shuts down, hies him to some snug sheltered refuge�" This is the perfect piece for the birder.
